Press Release: The CRA Issues Public Health and Safety Advisory Voluntary Product Recall with The Gummie Joint
To: CRA Stakeholders
November 5, 2026 – In the interest of public health and safety, The Gummie Joint, in coordination with the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA), is voluntarily recalling the Naked Hippie – Lucky Berry gummies that were produced in the last year.
During the past year, The Gummie Joint received multiple customer complaints about their Naked Hippie – Lucky Berry gummies, with customers indicating the product produced an unpleasant euphoric experience or “high” and may have also caused digestive distress. Out of an abundance of caution, The Gummie Joint has decided to withdraw these materials from the market.
Each pouch is labeled with a compliance sticker which indicates source package information. Consumers with Naked Hippie – Lucky Berry pouches that say “Source Tag: 1A4050300030A22000039972” are asked to discard this product. The Gummie Joint has removed the remainder of this batch from commercial sale.
Sales locations and METRC package tags are listed at this CRA webpage.
Consumers with a recalled product should return it to the sales location where it was purchased or dispose of it safely. Consumers who have experienced adverse reactions after using this product should report their symptoms and product use to their healthcare providers. Consumers are encouraged to also report any adverse reactions to a marijuana product to the CRA via the Adverse Reaction Form or by phone at 517-284-8599.
